3D-BERLIN IS NOMINATED FOR THE DIGITAL SIGNAGE BEST PRACTICE AWARD
A total of 14 projects from Germany, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands are among the nominees. Projects cover all major areas of the Digital Signage Industry: Interactive applications, Guiding Signage, Information Signage or Content for Digital Signage.
The projects will be presented during the Digital Signage World at the viscom exhibition between the 13th and 15th October 2011 in Düsseldorf. The Digital Signage World at the viscom is a major exhibition for digital signage since 2007.
The award will be give to the winner during the viscom night at 4th October at 7PM in Düsseldorf.
„Interactive 3D-Indoor-Navigation for the Main Office of the Freien Universität Berlin“
The Freie Universität Berlin is using the wayfinding solution Guide3D. The solution will cover ten languages and guide the visitors of the Main Office with the help of a keyword or room search. This project is nominated for the Digital Signage Best Practive Award. A total of 319 destination points were integrated, leading to 529 3D-Animations. Within seconds, the visitor can recognize his current location and start searching for his destination point. Even the perpectives can be swichted along the way.
